Download the brochureAndo Santos stands tall with 5 floors and 35 one to two-bedroom apartments. Dating back to 1648, the address holds a storied history from the King of Portugal's decree to construct a convent. After surviving a fire in 1837, a new building was erected in 1851 by Jose Antonio da Luz Robim. The building's charm endures with large windows, wrought-iron balconies, and a captivating tiled facade. Classified as Heritage of Municipal Interest, its ongoing restoration blends heritage features with modern upgrades, including anti-seismic construction, noise reduction, thermal comfort, and energy efficiency.
The original character and charm of the building will be honoured through a sensitive renovation that preserves its stunning tile facade and ornate ceilings soaring up to 3.48 metres high. Interior spaces are reimagined to meet the needs of contemporary living, offering both privacy and community.
There will be 35 tastefully-designed residences ranging from one to two bedrooms. The interior design vision for Marques de Abrantes 48 pairs existing architectural details with neutral tones and contrasting accents to create an overall scheme of calming elegance.
