Download the brochureAndo Living Santos House is comprised of 5 floors with 32 apartments ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms. The address has a well-documented history, dating back to 1648 when the King of Portugal ordained the construction of a convent following the arrival of Capuchin friars from Brittany, France.
With the extinction of religious orders in Portugal in 1834, the building began to be used as a residence for orphans. However, in 1837, the building was reduced to ashes. In 1851, a new building was constructed by José António da Luz Robim. Typical of that period, the building features large windows, wrought-iron balconies, and a beautiful tiled facade. Having one of the largest tiled facades in Lisbon for a residential building, it has been classified as heritage of the city’s interest. The original features are carefully preserved while incorporating new anti-seismic construction techniques, noise reduction, thermal comfort, and energy savings.
The original character and charm of the building is preserved through a sensitive renovation that honors its stunning tile facade and ornated ceilings of 3.5 meters high. Interior spaces are reimagined to meet the needs of contemporary living, offering both privacy and community. There will be 33 tastefully designed apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms.

Lisbon is a city full of beautiful contrasts. Delightful old quarters are found right next to avant-garde architecture. The great contrast
of vibrant cultural scenes and streets of old boroughs construct the unique cityscape of Lisbon. Contrasts could also be found in delicacies, where traditional Portuguese cuisine and exciting new dishes are served on the same table.
If you ever find yourself needing a break from such paradise on earth, Lisbon’s International airport is just a short flight away from most European capitals.
